Get started with ingredients you can grow in your own sipping garden in patio containers to create your own tea blends at home.  Together we will create a starting point for a growing plan for any outdoor space with locally adapted varietals. We will cover the basics of harvesting and using your ingredients in different blending and brewing methods.  You will bring home a growing plan, ideas for sourcing local plants for your sipping garden and get inspiration to grow and to harvest your own tea ingredients.

Work your way around the tea tasting wheel to discover flavors and notes in different teas, herbs and botanicals, using your senses to explore, identify and learn the basics of tea mixology and blending.  We will learn the steps of tea blending for flavor with a variety of dry ingredients to sample and to taste. This class will cover a few different simple meditation techniques. We will talk briefly about some history and background of these techniques at the beginning of each session, and then have some time to practice! Whatever your level of experience with meditation, from none to more, I encourage you to attend. Time durations will be short with small breaks, there will be floor and chair seating available to accommodate any level of mobility. ADA accessible.
