Our focus is to create a community-oriented space where customers can learn and exchange knowledge of herbal medicine. Our preference is for locally made/grown organic products. We encourage customers to spend time inside the shop, asking questions and finding solitude.
Our mission is to support and sustain a community of people interested in natural health and local herbal medicine in the Willamette Valley. We aim to be an outlet for local producers, thus creating a market for herb growers and processors in the Willamette Valley.
Chelsea Ochs began studying herbal and plant medicine as a child, reading and apprenticing with her mother and grandmother. She spent time outside in the garden and forest, teaching herself the names and faces of flowers. She pursued schooling for natural medicine, receiving a master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbalism in 2012. After graduating, she worked as an acupuncturist in a Chinese herbal clinic in Pike Place Market, and later as a buyer in an apothecary and natural remedy store in Seattle. She has a passion for treating mental health, chronic pain management, pediatric and geriatric medicine, as well as supportive therapies for women's, men's and transgender health.
